Your constructive comments can help our young writers develop their skills. And the knowledge that people out there are reading their work would greatly encourage them.

 

original work

We invite people of Asian ancestry, as well as present and former residents of Asia, to contribute original writing. You can submit work in any of the main categories:

• Poetry
• Fiction
• Autobiographical stories
• Artwork and photography
• Works for children

In addition to the work itself, could you please include your name and/or pseudonym, a sentence or two describing your writing and your e-mail address. Other things you might like to include are:

• a homepage address, if any
• a brief description of yourself
• a photograph or illustration (and caption) of yourself or something related to your writing
• a paragraph or two explaining something about your writing (e.g. inspiration, aims, stylistic techniques used, difficulties encountered)
• discussion questions or creative writing activities
• a sound file (background music or sound effects)
• articles, information, lists, addresses of other websites etc., relating to your writing

You can send files in rich text format (rtf) or text-only format (txt) via e-mail. Image files or formatted HTML documents can also be sent as e-mail attachments.
